Focus Flowers: Stay Focused · AI APPS INC · Last updated 20 October 2026
Focus Flowers ("Focus Flowers", "we", "us") is a focus timer for Android made by AI APPS INC. This policy explains what the app handles and why. In short: your garden is kept in your Focus Flowers account so it is safe and moves with you; other people only see the small public card described below; data about the apps on your phone never leaves your phone.
On your phone
- Your sessions: start and end times, minutes focused, the plant, tag, title and note you add. Used for your garden, timeline, statistics and widgets. Also kept in your account (see below).
- Your settings: timer length, tags, reminders and App Guard plans. App Guard plans stay on the phone only.
- App usage (only if you turn on App Guard, Deep focus or Phone Usage): which app is open and how long apps were used, read through Android's Usage access. Used only to pause the apps you chose and to show your screen time. It is never uploaded.
If Android backup is on, your sessions and settings are included in your own Google backup. We cannot see that backup.

We do not use Accessibility services, and we do not read your screen, messages, contacts or location.
Your Focus Flowers account
To use Focus Flowers you sign in with Google or with an e-mail address and password. Accounts are run on Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore, servers in Mumbai, India).
Stored in your account, readable only by you: your name, e-mail address, date of birth (e-mail sign-up only, to confirm you are 13 or older), your sessions, coins, diamonds, the plants, scenes and effects you own, achievements, settings and the friend requests you sent. App Guard plans and allowed apps are not synced.
What other Focus Flowers users can see
- Your public card: the name you chose (an e-mail address is never shown as a name), the plant you grow, how many plants grew or wilted, your focus minutes for the week and today, and today's plants. Signed-in users see it on rankings and profiles.
- Weekly ranking: your name, plant, this week's plants and Deep focus minutes, unless you turn on Settings › Hidden from global ranking.
- Finding you by e-mail: someone who already knows your exact e-mail address can send you a friend request. Your address can't be listed or shown to anyone.
- Friend requests through your profile: only if you turn this on in Settings (off by default).
- Invite code: if someone enters your code, you and they can see each other's public card.
- Profile picture (optional): shrunk to a small square and shown wherever your name appears to other signed-in users. Remove it any time. Focus Flowers only receives the one photo you pick; it has no camera or photo-library permission.
- Reports: you can report a user whose name or picture is inappropriate. We store who reported whom and when, and use it only to remove offensive names or pictures.
- Plant Together rooms: people in the same room see your name, plant and picture while the room exists.
Ads (free version)
The free version shows ads, never while a focus session is running:
- Ads you choose to watch: for double coins after a session, to allow an app in Deep focus for 24 hours, or to delete a planting record (you can use coins instead). At most 20 in 24 hours.
- A full-screen ad after a session: sometimes when you tap "Back to Home". Never on the day you install the app and never right after an ad you chose to watch.
All ads play muted. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID) and ad interaction data to show and measure ads. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and UK) you are asked for consent first and can change it any time in Settings › Ad privacy choices. Plus members see no ads. Google's policy: policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Purchases
Plus and diamond packs are sold through Google Play. Google handles the payment; we only receive confirmation of what you bought, which we use to switch on Plus or add your diamonds. We never see your card or bank details.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
Your account data is kept while you have an account. Delete it any time in the app (Settings › your account › My Account › Delete Account), or see Delete your account. Deleting removes your account, your synced garden, coins, diamonds and items, your public card, ranking rows, e-mail lookup, invite code, friend links, profile picture and the reports you sent.
Children
Focus Flowers is not directed at children under 13.
Your choices
- Delete everything on the phone: Settings › Delete my data.
- Export your data: Settings › Export my data.
- "Connect only on Wi-Fi" in Settings stops syncing on mobile data.
- Turn off any optional permission in Android settings at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
